Our Vision
Our school vision
The Senior Leadership Team share an impassioned vision for the school, which is to:
- Share the high expectation that children and young people at the school achieve at least five GCSEs or equivalent (depending on ability)
- Ensure that young people leave school with a good reading level
- Support and enable pupils who have previously struggled to access education to self-regulate and manage their social emotional, mental health and physical needs both within the school environment and in life
- Enable pupils to become respectful members of society who are community minded, uphold British Values, understand Protected Characteristics and who contribute to charitable causes
- Enable young people to be proactive, enterprising, aspirational and career minded
- Ensure that pupils and their parents/carers feel pride in their achievements and have a developing self-esteem
- Develop independence, resilience and kindness in pupils
- Enable staff to feel pride in, and be aspirational for, their pupils and for themselves
Our School Values are:
Embedding our values in school
Our Values are widely discussed throughout school and reinforced through part of our reward system.
We use assemblies to develop understanding and relevance of our values. We discuss what our Values mean to us and what that means for our pupils. Here's an example of pur assembly.
