Inspectors said "Pupils thrive at West Kirby School and College, and that "in all areas of the school pupils receive a transformational education." Mr Richard Hicks, Headteacher, comments "Inspectors judged our school as strong across five areas, and 'strong' is exactly the right word. It reflects not only the standard inspectors found, but the strength of relationships, the strength of support, and the strength of belief we hold in every one of our pupils. This is a proud moment for our whole school community, and is a credit to every member of staff who goes above and beyond for our young people, every single day." When sharing how it feels to be a pupil at our school, inspectors said "Pupils feel safe, valued and included, and how "every member of staff lives out the school's motto 'Changing Children's Lives'." Parent Governor, Clare Boulton shared "As both a parent and governor, I am incredibly proud of this result. The report reflects the dedication, care and hard work of staff across the school and college who create an environment where every young person is supported to achieve their full potential. It's wonderful to see their commitment recognised by OFSTED." We thank all our parents, carers and pupils for their valued involvement with the inspectors. Thanks to Wirral Globe for their article.
