Armed Forces Day

The Nationwide event shows support and recognition for the men and women who serve, or have served, in the forces. 

Over the day, the Army, Navy, Royal Air Force (RAF) and Commando Joes came in to offer sessions to all pupils. Pupils were given the opportunity to try on uniform and hold special equipment, whilst also getting a whistle-stop tour of the different jobs in each sector of the forces. The pupils were full of respectful questions and wanted to know all about what it is that makes our visitors love their jobs.
