Councillors Visit West Kirby School
We love welcoming visitors into our School to discuss life-skills that our pupils need to know as they step into the wider world. This term, we welcomed some local Councillors who came to talk about the upcoming election.
Councillors Jennifer Johnson and Max Booth, visited school to talk to our Post-16 students about the importance of being involved in the electoral process and how they could register to vote. They also discussed what their role as Councillor involves. The General Election brought the importance of this into greater focus and underlined that being involved gives people a voice.
Thank you to Jennifer Johnson and Max Booth for coming in to discuss such an important topic with our students.
