World Book Day 2024
It’s that time of year again, World Book Day. Pupils and staff came dressed to the nines in their book-themed outfits and took part in plenty of activities, all to celebrate the eclectic number of stories available for all ages.
We had no pupils or staff in School on the 8th of March. Instead, they all seemed to be replaced by…literary characters? Disguised as candlesticks and clocks from Beauty and The Beast, Harry Potter, Willy Wonka himself and other iconic works of fiction, our cohort looked slightly different as they came together to celebrate World Book Day.
Pupils and staff enjoyed the classic annual World Book Day quiz, with great scores across the board. With book-themed activities and smiles all-round, it really is one of our favourite days of the year. Did you dress up? If so, who as?
A big thank you to Mrs Russell, Mrs Abernethy and the English team for another fabulous World Book Day.
