Health update - Parents and Carers
Covid-19 update
Dear Parent/Carer,
As always we appreciate your on-going support.
We would like to share some information with you, with regards to Covid-19 (Corona virus). At present we are led by governmental guidelines and are following information from the Department for Education and Public Health England with regards to how we are responding to recent health concerns. We have been working this week to support our children in remembering to:
'Catch it, Bin it, kill it'
Which refers to blowing into a tissue and putting it into a bin.
We have also been reminding our students about washing their hands regularly with soap and water. Research has proven that scrubbing for 20 seconds with soap and water removes germs.
As a school we have an advice line, which we are able to contact 24 hours a day and experts on hand via that line to support head teachers. The current guidance states: No school should close in response to a suspected (or confirmed) COVID-19 case unless advised to do so by Public Health England. We will continue to follow guidance and keep abreast of all advice to schools.
